The Dillards played Family Darlin ', with Denver Pyle, Maggie Peterson, The Andy Griffith Show episodes on several different operating from 1963 to 1966 and the return of Andy Griffith Mayberry special in 1986.
Of all his work, Family Darlin 'bluegrass band no doubt that they are best known. I know the first time I heard was the Andy Griffith. Over the years I have bought several cassettes and CDs, all because I saw this really cool band on television as a child.
TV shows like Andy Griffith and the Beverly Hillbillies helped many bluegrass musicians make their way to stardom. More importantly, these classic bluegrass music shows introduced millions of people who were not familiar with him and liked by many of those.
